Changing Times; Changing Seasons
What does this time of year mean to you? For some, it is a delicious transition into autumn. For some, it is the sad end of a care-free summer. For others, it is just time to get back to work. Any way you look at it, it is the time of a seasonal change, from the warm season of growth to the cooler and drier season of pulling inward, preparing for the winter cold.
It is also one of the times when we seem to become a bit more susceptible to illness, especially colds and influenza. Why is that? Well, there is that creature – ‘Stress’ that increases our anxiety and decreases the strength of our immune systems. We are also generally indoors a bit more, and around more people (and germs).
What can you do about staying healthy? Changing times are stressful, whether the change is good or bad, physical or emotional. Wouldn’t it be great if you could manage the change coming up in your life with strength, good will, and health?
You need to stay strong and healthy. And some inner peace would be nice, too. You can do that with acupuncture.
